What exactly does Xentral — JPS-iQ do?

Xentral — JPS-iQ is the Xentral Business Unit of the JPS-iQ Solutions Group. We implement Xentral for e-commerce, DTC and fulfillment-driven brands — from shop and checkout through orders, warehouse, shipping and intercompany to a clean handover into DATEV.

The strength comes from partnerships with Shopify, Stripe and ecosio plus DATEV experience: we implement the entire commerce stack, not just the ERP module.

Why JPS-iQ rather than another Xentral partner?

Because we keep commerce, fulfillment and finance inside one delivery. Most Xentral partners cover one corner — shop, or warehouse, or accounting export. We build the full process from checkout to DATEV journal as a single target model.

What makes you different from standard Xentral implementers?

First: finance discipline instead of shop-only thinking. Chart of accounts, tax, intercompany and DATEV handover are built in parallel with the commerce flow, not after.

Second: fulfillment depth. Picking, shipping, returns and multi-warehouse as clean process logic.

Third: we are part of an ERP-agnostic group. If Xentral is not the right choice, we say so — instead of selling it anyway.

Who is a good fit for a conversation — and who isn't?

Good fit: DTC, e-commerce and fulfillment-heavy brands in growth mode, multi-channel retailers with a Shopify core, brands running their own warehouse, groups with intercompany flow and a DATEV obligation.

Less good fit: pure B2B manufacturing scenarios with deep production complexity. NetSuite or the Microsoft Business Unit usually fit better there.

How does a first engagement start?

A 30-minute scoping call: channels, fulfillment reality, finance flow, time window. No licence push on the first call.

Then an assessment phase with a target architecture across shop, Xentral, warehouse, payments and DATEV on a single page. Only then do we talk scope, commercials and rollout plan.

What role do Shopify, Stripe, ecosio and DATEV play?

Shopify is usually the checkout and product master origin. Stripe keeps payments, refunds and payouts clean. ecosio brings EDI connections to retailers and service providers. DATEV is the finance handover.

Our job: wire those four layers to Xentral as the system of record so that, together, they form a controllable picture — including reconciliation, reversal and month-end close.
